featuring Jack Nicklaus.
Jack Nicklaus is featured in the new Rolex Icons campaign. One of Rolex’s first testimonies in golf, the Golden Bear has worn a Rolex on his wrist since 1967. Since then, the relationship between Rolex and golf has continuously grown and prospered thanks to the brand’s trendsetting initiative in the field of sports sponsoring. Today Rolex is golf’s leading supporter and is associated not only with the most important and prestigious entities governing the sport worldwide, but also with golf’s principal professional tours, competitions and athletes. Jack’s association with the leading maker of luxury timepieces has the distinction of being the longest in his career. The Golden Bear stars in a new commercial for the campaign, available for viewing here.
“I have never worn another watch since 1967,” Nicklaus said. “Rolex is the premier watch maker in the world, and I have not only been proud to wear my Rolex, but also represent the Rolex brand around the world!”
For the past 100 years, men and women who do extraordinary things have relied on Rolex as their timepiece of choice. The list includes luminaries, visionaries and champions, as well as artists, statesmen, explorers, and leaders in their respective fields. In the new Rolex and Icons campaign, Rolex pays homage to these remarkable individuals whose lives changed the face of the world.
