The third season of the Golf Channel’s wildly popular show, “Feherty,” debuts Monday, February 25, at 10 p.m. ET with special guest Jack Nicklaus. To film the show, David Feherty traveled to Nicklaus’ home in North Palm Beach, Fla. where the pair enjoyed a candid, humorous and heartfelt discussion poolside.
The New York Times called Feherty “a cross between Oprah Winfrey and Johnny Carson.” His irreverent humor and undeniable charm proves disarming for guests, and leads to great conversation, and a whole lot of laughs. And laugh, they did. Following the interview, Feherty and Nicklaus slipped away to a nearby island under the warm Florida sun to enjoy some fly-fishing.
Golf was certainly at the center of conversation between Feherty and Nicklaus. Although now known for his role as a golf commentator and talk show host, Feherty was a regular on the European Tour until he retired from professional golf in 1997. He captained the winning Irish team in the 1990 Alfred Dunhill Cup and played on the European Ryder Cup Team in 1991.
