The 2013 PGA Merchandise Show brought together more than 1,000 companies and brands introducing new and innovative golf equipment, apparel, accessories and services to more than 43,000 attending PGA Professionals, buyers and industry leaders from 75 countries. The 60th anniversary event was a perfect setting for new Jack Nicklaus Apparel licensee 5 Crown International to debut samples from the forthcoming Fall 2013 collection. Jack Nicklaus Apparel representatives met with golf professionals, buyers, athletic coaches, and media to showcase the new line, which features classic looks for on and off the golf course for both men and women.
The Fall 2013 line will be available for purchase at golf shops in the U.S., as well as department shops and specialty stores around the world. The line features more than 65 styles and 300 SKUS, based upon an “eternal spring” color palate with its bright yellows and oranges, cool blues, muted purples and pinks, and vibrant greens. Knit polo shirts in stripes and solids abound, along with long-sleeve wovens great for corporate wear. The women’s line earned rave reviews for its comfortable polo shirts, stylish skirts and skorts, and wearable, lightweight sleeveless looks.
In addition to hints of the Golden Bear’s influence in every item in the Fall 2013 apparel line, Jack Nicklaus and the Nicklaus Companies celebrated an unmistakable presence at the PGA Show. Partner companies Allen Edmonds, AHEAD, Inc., E-Z-GO, Golf Digest, Jack Nicklaus Digital Course Solutions, and Jack Nicklaus Learning Leagues powered by SNAG (Starting New at Golf) were among the exhibitors, reinforcing the great “paw print” the Golden Bear has on the overall golf industry.
